DIRECT ENGAGEMENT
Clients are required to pay an introductory fee to QHNA for directly engaging the nurses referred by us. Please contact our HealthCare Administrator for such arrangement.
FEES FOR NURSES CALLED OUT AT NIGHT OR IN AN EMERGENCY
Fees for nurses/carers called out during the night (8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.) will be charged as a full shift (12 hours), plus a taxi fare will be charged if the nurse is called out after 10:00 p.m.
Fees for nurses/carers called out in an emergency during the day : if the order is made before 10:00 a.m., the charge will be a full shift rate. Calls made after 10:00 a.m. will be charged to the nearest hour.
There will be a charge of HK$100 taxi fare for the nursing shift which is started/finished before 6:30 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m.
TYPHOON AND BLACK RAIN RATES
Fees for nurses working during typhoon signal no. 8 will be one and a half times normal rates, starting from the time that the no. 8 signal is raised (charged to the nearest shift) plus HK$100.00 for the nurses' taxi fare to/ from work.

An Additional Charge of HK$50.00 for taxi fare to/ from work also applies to nurses working during black rain.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
For Chinese Nurses and Nursing Aides, the following shifts during Chinese New Year will be charged at double the normal shift rate :
Lunar New Year Eve Night duty
1st day of Lunar New Year Day and night duty
2nd day of Lunar New Year Day and night duty
3rd day of Lunar New Year Day duty
ACCOUNTS
Normally accounts will be rendered weekly, but for a period of less than a week they will be submitted on termination of our service.
Payment can be made by cheque, cash or transfer to our bank account. Please refer to our invoice for details.
For visitors from overseas, payment in Hong Kong dollars is required.
Advanced payment is required for nurses escorting patients overseas.
LATE PAYMENT CHARGE
QHNA reserves the right to add a 5% surcharge should accounts remain unpaid after 15 days, and the nurses/carers introduced by QHNA are also entitled to stop providing any further services forthwith.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
A cancellation charge equivalent to a Brief Visit rate will be levied for orders not cancelled more than four hours prior to the start of their shift.

QHNA is an employment agency and that nurses/carers introduced by QHNA are not its staff or employees. QHNA undertakes reasonable background checks on nurses/carers placed by it as their agent but does not accept any responsibility for the conduct or professional expertise of the nurses/carers once placed or any liability in respect of same and it is the client's responsibility to supervise and be responsible for such conduct and professional expertise of the nurses/carers once work has commenced.
