| Employee Assistance Program (EAP) began as an outgrowth of the labor movement. Since 1940's, organizations in the United States, such as DuPont, Eastman Kodak, Caterpillar Tractors had begun to provide EAP and now evolved to be common practice especially for large corporations. The development of EAP in Hong Kong has started in the early 1990's and developed in a positive way to promote corporations' attention on employees' mental health. |
