Health Talk on Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease (EV-71) Enterovirus (Out-reach Program)
Hand, foot and mouth disease is a common viral infection in children, usually caused by enteroviruses such as coxsackie virus A and enterovirus 71 (EV 71). As EV 71 infection are more likely to cause more serious complications and may even be fatal, it is the cause of special concern.
