1. Can a friend or family member collect the report on my behalf?

Yes. Please bring the original authorization letter, the original identity card of the authorizer and a copy of the patient’s identity card when collecting the report. Please complete the authorization letter on a blank sheet of paper according to the information below. A sample authorization letter is as follows:

2.  I would like to consult a doctor to confirm whether I am pregnant. Will a pregnancy certificate be provided?

General Practice Pregnancy can be confirmed through a blood test or a urine pregnancy test.

 

3. Will a medical certificate (attendance slip) be provided for the doctor visit? 

 Yes. An attendance certificate can be requested from the clinic staff after completing the examination.

 

4.  If I forgot to collect the attendance certificate after my consultation, can I request a replacement? 

Yes. Before collecting the replacement attendance certificate, please call the clinic first to confirm whether your attending doctor will be on duty on the day of collection.

 

5. I would like to schedule a doctor’s appointment after 6:00 pm on weekdays or on Saturday afternoon.

Some clinics offer services after 6:00 pm on weekdays, as well as on Saturday afternoons / Sundays.

6. Are healthcare vouchers accepted at all Quality HealthCare clinics?

Most Quality HealthCare clinics and medical practitioners participate in the Elderly Health Care Voucher Scheme. Acceptance may vary by clinic or doctor. Please contact the clinic in advance or refer to the eHealth Elderly Health Care Voucher website for details.

 

7. Can I consult more than one doctors on the same day using my medical card?

This depends on the terms and conditions set by your medical card provider. As policies may vary among providers, it is recommended that you contact your medical card company directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

9. Which specialist should I consult?

As different symptoms may require expertise from different specialists, it is recommended that you first consult a general practitioner for an initial assessment. The doctor will then advise you on the appropriate specialist referral based on your condition. You may also contact the clinic directly for guidance on specialist services.

 

10. After seeing a doctor, can I have my medication dispensed elsewhere?

Yes. Please inform the doctor during your consultation if you require a prescription letter for medication to be dispensed at another pharmacy. 

Reminder: After receiving the prescription, it is recommended that you check with your medical card or insurance provider regarding any designated network pharmacies (if applicable), to ensure coverage arrangements.
